Full Height

This is possibly the most popular shutter style that we are asked to supply and install. Full height Shutters are single panels that run from the bottom of your window or door recess, right to the top. Individual panel widths are determined by the material chosen at consultation stage and multiple panels are hinged together to cover the full window width. With the addition of a mid-rail (privacy bar) extra strength is lent to larger Shutter Panels and also divides the louvres into separately controlled top and bottom sections. This is the perfect solution for street-level privacy: by closing only the eye-level sections, you are able to keep curious neighbours at bay whilst still enjoying the light streaming through the top panels

Tier-on-Tier

This option offers a similar look to our full height Shutters, but essentially provides two full height Shutter Panels, placed one atop the other. Top and bottom panels can be independently operated and louvre sets controlled separately. This gives you the flexibility to convert your Shutters into Café Style by fully opening the top panels, whilst leaving the bottom panels closed for privacy. It is worth noting, however, that if (like the majority of our customers) you typically prefer to leave your shutter panels closed and only adjust the louvre's, then full height Shutters may be more suited to your needs, as the top rail of one set of Shutters and the bottom rail of the other in Tier-on-Tier cannot be adjusted like a louvre, so some light is forfeited when they are fully closed

Bay Windows and Splay Bays

Suitable for three, five and seven-sided bay windows, our plantation shutters are a breathtaking solution to what is considered a quintessentially British style of window. We have an extensive range of superb quality bay frames, including a 90° version. Should your bay not match any of our stock bay frames, we also offer custom-made bay frames for the perfect fit

Cafe Style

This style of Shutter typically spans just the lower half of your window. This option provides eye-level privacy from passers by, whilst maximising natural daylight. Chic and understated, Café Style Shutters are typically combined with curtains or blinds, so that complete privacy is enabled when required

By-Pass

The By-Pass Shutter system is one of two styles tailored to suit French door installations. As the name suggests, the Shutter Panels slide along top and bottom tracks overlapping each other. By-pass Shutters are the perfect choice for wardrobe doors, room partitions, or simply to act as a privacy screen

Bi-Fold

The Bi-fold system is possibly the optimum solution for particularly long spans of windows or doors. Bi-fold Shutters concertina together along track systems when opened up, or can simply be left in place while the louvres alone are adjusted to control the light

Wardrobe

Both Bi-fold and By-pass systems are an excellent choice for wardrobes, as they enable you to match your wardrobes to your Shutter installation, lending as sense of flow and simplicity to your environment. Solid Panel Shutters

We are one of the few companies who supply a full range of solid panel shutters that provide a more traditional look and feel to your home. Solid panel shutters are a classic option, but look equally magnificent in a modern setting. Our solid panel shutters are only available in our hardwood ranges and there are three styles to choose from, including the popular Solid Shaker and Solid Base Shutters

Plantation Shutters with Black Out Blind

Total Blackout Shutters: Unlike the retro-fit option, that often sees a roller blind mounted behind the shutter, this unique frame benefits from total light exclusion as there is no light seepage between Shutter Panel and frame

Skylight Shutters

Our Skylight Shutters can be ordered with an additional remote control upgrade. This requires no hard wiring – an out-of-sight battery pack is simply mounted to the back of the shutter and can be easily taken out to change batteries – which saves on expensive electrical installation costs. The Shutter is controlled via a remote control handset that can allow several banks of shutters to be controlled via group or individual settings and includes the option to put the Shutters on timer settings to allow you to select the louvre position required at any given time of day

Remote Control

Remote Control option operates each shutter panel at the press of a button. Preset options enable you to adjust the louvres on all or one Shutter Panel at a time and our programmable function allows consumers to pre-program the louvres to open to specific angles at specific times

The unrivaled flexibility of our truly bespoke plantation shutter systems means that even the most awkward window shape can be fitted with a Shutter solution.
